Calm and collected in nature, everything else about Ayesha screams creativity. A dynamic entrepreneur from an early age, Ayesha takes the lead in organizing and making things happen. Her expertise and professionalism will help you float with ease into the creative arms of Silk Events and effortlessly bring your vision to life.
Ayesha began her career as an Airport Services Agent with Emirates Airlines at Dubai International Airport, but her interests often diverted to arts and design, and in 2010, she launched her own boutique in Dubai; A&M Fashions. Finding local and international success in that, Ayesha then began her journey in the makeup industry. Today, she is the proud owner, makeup artist & hair stylist of Makeup by Ayesha Naz, which was initiated in the UAE, and has successfully crossed oceans and spread across Ontario. Her aim is to create and own a bridal lounge someday.
Ayesha raises two boys with just as much passion as she puts towards her work. Her dream is to see her kids grow into amazing human being. Her strength is her unyielding positivity and faith, and her weakness is becoming too devoted to those she loves.

The life of the party and cheerleader to everyone she cares about, Eza is the heart of Silk Events. Our company is Eza’s vision and the Weavers are her wings. Since childhood, Eza has a natural inclination towards creating things that are unique, and over the years, this has been executed in all the unforgettable events that she has hosted. She brings all of this goodness to help YOU become the host with the most!

Eza carries with her a wide array of experiences: a background in interior design that she has yet to fully pursue. She began her career life as a client service agent at DNATA with Emirate Airlines, and today, Eza balances her role as a dental assistant while raising her two children.
Family and friends mean the world to Eza, and she’s passionate about savoring every moment with them to the fullest. Her dream is to make her daughter and son proud of her meaningful impact in life; her superpower is her boundless energy, and her weakness are the very children who provide her strength and motivation everyday.
Joya
COO; Event Designer & Culinary Artist
An English teacher by profession, and a creator with profound love for artistry, Joya brings you her effortless ability to envision a setting before it exists. Her relentless attention to detail is bound to mesmerize anyone. Calm and composed, but full of passion, Joya will help you plan your event to the T and execute it to perfection, as you sit back in serenity.
Joya began her teaching career almost two decades ago, having taught in four different countries across the world. Along with teaching and styling parties for years, Joya founded her custom cake business from home in Toronto, Storytime by Joya, in 2010, which extended into many chapters over the years, including a savory line, intimate event planning, and occasional set ups. She folds and fuses all of that experience with a generous dash of magic at Silk Events.
A mother of three, and a lover of the little things in life, Joya believes no act of kindness, however small, goes wasted, and she lives to bring a little sparkle to everyone’s lives. Joya’s dream is to travel, travel, travel, but always come home to a haven she never needs to escape. Her superpower is her unwavering patience and positivity, and her weakness is that she can be too kind for her own good.
